ABOUT
Te Utuhina Manaakitanga Trust is a community based,
outpatient counselling service.
The primary aim of the Trust is to reduce the harm caused by alcohol and drugs in a way that reflects Māori aspirations and values, while recognising both Māori and Non-Māori in the delivery of services.
Youth Services
Te Pahuutanga is available in Rotorua, Taupo and Turangi for those 12-25. Our youth workers are mobile and able to travel to see rangatahi in a suitable space.
Counselling Services
We offer FREE confidential counselling services to anyone wanting support to deal
with their addictions.
Referrals are welcome.
Residential Care
Our Residential Care Centre focuses on providing clinical services within a Kaupapa Māori framework. Importantly, it is responsive to the development needs of our clients.

To offer a Kaupapa Māori alcohol and drug service within the Rotorua and Lakes region. To ensure our values for our whaiora include the balance between the Physical (Tinana), the Mind (Hinengaro) and the Spirit (Wairua). To offer a reputable and comprehensive Alcohol and Drug Service within the community.
